The fine weather is back, with sunshine warming the ground, longer days and spring on the way. That was all it took to restart the mapping work on the venues selected to welcome you.
No fewer than five mappers are currently surveying and drawing the areas reserved for the competitions.
Within the club, Alain Ruaud and Alain Pourre are updating the “Les Premiers Sapins” map, which has already been enlarged by the latter.
Franck Dechavanne, for his part, has started updating the second “Les Premiers Sapins” map.
Rui Antunes and his associate are covering the Vernierfontaine/Voires area, which represents about 4.6 km².
Training areas are not forgotten: Yann Pinard, a club volunteer, will soon have finished updating Prélot.
In line with the planned schedule—based on contributors’ availability as well as forecast weather conditions—a major part of the mapping should be completed between late March and early April.
Soon, Michel Duboc should be able to start work on Naisey-les-Granges/Étalans (7.2 km²).
Finally, for the update of the Gonsans training map, Eddie and Kylian Wymer will be available in mid-April.
